Detta upptäckte jag efter ett rutinbesök på hans sajt johnleader.com, sökandes efter nya klipp att inspireras av. Lyckligtvis har jag ett helt bibliotek av John Leader-demos som jag sparat ner för flera år sen.

Jag hade lite kontakt med honom via mail och han sa om mina demos “You have a voice that can make some good money.” Visserligen som svar på ett mail där jag öst komplimanger över honom (som man brukar göra när man pratar med sina idoler), men ändå. Jag har nog fortfarande inte hämtat mig från den glädjechocken trots att det gått över tre år.

John Leader ses i den smått legendarisa videon “5 Men in a Limo” från 90-talet. Han är den första medpassageraren som kliver in i Don Lafontaines limo.
